Easy Tea Masala Cake Recipe with Prayosha Meera Tea Masala
Ingredients
- 190 ml full-fat milk
- 2 tsp Prayosha Meera Tea Masala
- 8–10 green cardamoms, roughly crushed
- 4–5 cloves
- 1-inch cinnamon stick
- 100 g butter, softened
- 30 g castor sugar
- 100 g roasted hazelnuts, chopped
- 130 g all-purpose flour (maida)
- 210 g condensed milk
- 1¼ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
Step by Step Guide
- To prepare the masala tea, add 190 ml full-fat milk, 2 tsp Prayosha Meera Tea Masala, 8–10 crushed green cardamom pods, 4–5 cloves, and a 1-inch cinnamon stick to a pan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then strain and allow it to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 130 g all-purpose flour, 1¼ tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, and 100 g chopped roasted hazelnuts. Mix well and keep aside.
- In another bowl, beat 100 g softened butter and 30 g castor sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
- Add 210 g condensed milk and continue beating until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the cooled masala tea into the batter and mix well until fully combined.
- Gradually add the prepared flour mixture and gently fold it into the batter until smooth and free of lumps.
- Pour the batter into a greased 7-inch baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 50–60 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the Tea Masala Cake to cool before slicing and serving.
