Easy Bharwa Bhindi Recipe with Sabji Masa
Ingredients
- 250 g fresh bhindi (okra)
- 2–3 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ⅛ tsp Prayosha Meera Hing Powder
- ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Turmeric Powder
- ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- ½ tsp amchur (dry mango) powder
- 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp fennel powder
- 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Sabji Masala Powder
- 2 finely chopped green chillies
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Salt to taste
Step by Step Guide
- In a bowl, combine ⅛ tsp Prayosha Meera Hing Powder, ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Turmeric Powder, ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, ½ tsp amchur powder, 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Coriander Powder, 1 tsp fennel powder, 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Sabji Masala Powder, 1 tsp garlic paste, and salt to taste. Mix well to prepare the stuffing.
- Wash and slit 250 g fresh bhindi (ladyfingers) lengthwise without cutting them into two pieces. Carefully fill each bhindi with the prepared spice mixture.
- Heat 2–3 tbsp oil in a pan. Add ½ tsp cumin seeds, 2 chopped green chillies, and 1 tsp grated ginger. Sauté for a minute, then gently add the stuffed bhindi and cook on low to medium heat for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Garnish the Bharwa Bhindi with 1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, paratha, or dal-rice.
