Easy Pav Bhaji Bomb Recipe with Pav Bhaji Masala
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- ¼ cup capsicum, chopped
- ¼ cup tomato, chopped
- ¼ cup boiled potato, mashed
- ¼ cup boiled green peas
- ¼ cup boiled cauliflower
- ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Turmeric Powder
- ½ tsp Prayosha Meera Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Pav Bhaji Masala
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 4 pav (bread buns)
- ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
Step by Step Guide
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add 2 tbsp butter and let it melt completely while stirring.
- Add ¼ cup of chopped onions and fry until golden brown.
- Add 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
- Add ¼ cup chopped capsicum and cook for 2–3 minutes, then add ¼ cup chopped tomato and cook until soft and mushy.
- Add ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Turmeric Powder, ½ tsp Prayosha Meera Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Pav Bhaji Masala, and salt to taste. Cook for 3–4 minutes.
- Add ¼ cup boiled potato, ¼ cup boiled green peas, ¼ cup boiled cauliflower, and ¼ cup grated beetroot. Mix well and cook for 5–6 minutes.
- Mash the mixture well using a masher, then cover and cook again for 2–3 minutes.
- Add 1 tsp chopped fresh coriander leaves and mix well.
- Cut each pav slightly in the center and place it on a baking tray. Fill the cavity with the prepared bhaji mixture.
- Top each pav with ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese (as needed). Cover with aluminium foil and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.
- Serve the hot Pav Bhaji Bomb immediately.
