How to Make Chicken Masala Dry Fry at Home
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken, boneless, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp curd (yogurt)
- 3 tbsp oil
- ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 2 tsp Prayosha Meera Chicken Masala Powder
- 8–10 curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Step by Step Guide
- Marinate the chicken cubes with 2 tbsp curd, ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Turmeric Powder, 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, and salt to taste. Set aside for 20 minutes.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onion with curry leaves until golden.
- Add 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
- Add the marinated chicken and 2 tsp Prayosha Meera Chicken Masala Powder. Cook uncovered on medium-high heat, stirring frequently, for 12–15 minutes until the chicken is browned and dry.
- Squeeze 1 tbsp lemon juice over the top, mix well, and serve hot as a side dish or starter.
