How to Make Mix Vegetable Sabji at Home
Ingredients
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrot, beans, peas, potato), chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ⅛ tsp Prayosha Meera Hing Powder
- ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Turmeric Powder
- ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Coriander Powder
- 1½ tsp Prayosha Meera Sabji Masala Powder
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leaves
Step by Step Guide
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add ½ tsp cumin seeds and ⅛ tsp Prayosha Meera Hing Powder. Let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add the chopped onion and grated ginger, and sauté until the onion turns translucent.
- Add the chopped tomato along with ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Turmeric Powder, ¼ tsp Prayosha Meera Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, and 1 tsp Prayosha Meera Coriander Powder. Cook until the tomato softens.
- Add the mixed vegetables and 1½ tsp Prayosha Meera Sabji Masala Powder, mixing well to coat. Cover and cook on low-medium heat for 12–15 minutes until the vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt to taste, garnish with 1 tbsp coriander leaves, and serve hot with roti or rice.
